TEA CAMERON
TEA CAMERON
Sacred Movement Artist
“Movement is my medicine”
Tea Cameron is a sacred movement artist and spiritual healer whose dance bridges African, Afro-Caribbean, modern, liturgical, and soul-inspired styles. A force of rhythm, passion, and ancestral movement, her artistry fuses technical training with intuitive expression.
Trained at the renowned Lula Washington Dance Theatre in Los Angeles, Tea developed a strong foundation in technical precision and expressive storytelling. With decades of experience in performance, teaching, and choreography, her journey has led her to both celebrated stages and sacred community spaces. In Atlanta, she graced iconic venues such as the Philips Arena, CNN Center, Fox Theatre, and Apache Café, and served as a dance educator within one of the city’s largest spiritual communities.
Now rooted on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, she continues to offer dance not just as performance, but as medicine, celebration, and liberation. As a member of Caribe Ubuntu, she performs in vibrant community events that honor both heritage and healing. In 2024, she founded a local dance collective that debuted in Puerto Viejo, channeling the pulse of ancestral rhythm into fresh, inspired spaces.
Beyond the stage, Tea dances for the ocean, the Earth, and the unseen forces that guide sacred rites of passage. Her movement is an extension of her work as The Sacred Technician; a spiritual healer devoted to the restoration of the soul through bodywork, ritual, and energetic alignment. Her dance is both expression and devotion. She feels dance is her way of listening, responding, and flowing with the divine choreography of life.
